Williams Village and Bear Creek Apartments
Williams Village, fondly referred to as Will Vill, and Bear Creek are located on the southeast edge of campus at 30th Street and Baseline Road. Will Vill is home to three residential academic programs (RAPs)—two focused specifically on sustainability and the brand new pre-business RAP. There are also several living and learning communities in Will Vill—TransferWEST, designed specifically for transfer students, Active Darley for the physically active student and the new Service Corps for students wishing to participate in service and volunteerism. Will Vill offers residence hall and apartment-style living for freshman, sophomore, upper-division and transfer students.
Bear Creek Apartments provide premier housing for upper-division, graduate and transfer students. All units are fully furnished, and individual 9- and 12-month leases are available. These two communities share some excellent amenities including sand volleyball courts, soccer fields, a rec center annex, a dining and community commons*, convenient parking and access to the frequently running Buff Bus, which transports students all over campus.
* Village Center, Dining and Community Commons is slated to open in January 2017.
VILLAGE CENTER, DINING AND COMMUNITY COMMONS
Opening in January 2017, this brand new addition to Williams Village (Will Vill) is replacing Darley Commons, which was constructed in 1969 and no longer met the needs of this growing community. The Village Center will offer a state-of-the art dining facility, showcasing local and regional foods, a late night café, indoor and outdoor seating, study and lounge areas, an academic support office, plus a health center annex. The Village Center will enhance the living and learning experience of our residents and provide a modern and welcoming location to serve as the hub of activity for our Will Vill and Bear Creek communities.
