Student Recreation Center
Across the main campus is the newly renovated Student Recreation Center, with over 300,000 square feet of activity space including six basketball courts, five fitness studios, an ice rink, three tennis courts, four pools, four racquetball courts, an indoor turf gym, strength and cardio areas, a climbing gym and a wellness suite.
The four program areas of the Rec include sport clubs, intramural sports, fitness and wellness, and the outdoor program. Sport clubs and intramurals focus more on team sports, whereas the fitness and wellness and outdoor programs focus on skill acquisition. The fitness and wellness program offers a variety of fitness classes such as group fitness, personal and small group training, yoga, martial arts and dance. The outdoor program offers organized classes such as rock and ice climbing, kayaking, fly fishing and many other opportunities to enjoy the great Colorado outdoors.
The Bear Creek Commons Recreation Center, located at Williams Village, offers convenient fitness services for students living at Williams Village and Bear Creek Apartments. Bear Creek activity spaces include strength and cardio areas, a functional training room and a fitness studio.
