Central Campus and Farrand Field
Leaving the ATLAS building and walking along 18th Street past the Imig Music building, you will come upon a spacious, grass-covered field. Farrand Field is a longtime gathering place for students to study, play or just soak up the sun, and it serves as the heart of Central Campus. The residence halls in this area are home to some of our popular residential academic programs that feature interests like business, humanities, natural sciences, visual and performing arts, history and culture. There are also two living and learning communities for students. One involves diversity and social justice and the other is dedicated to engineering and applied science.
Regent Administrative Center
Just a short walk from Farrand Field is the Regent Administrative Center, where students can get admissions information, pay tuition and fees, find out about financial aid or register for classes. The offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, the Bursar, the Graduate School and the Registrar are located just a few steps apart on a rectangular court. The offices of key CU Boulder administrators are also located in Regent.
ACADEMIC SUCCESS AND ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM (ASAP)
ASAP offers free tutoring services to first-year freshmen and all students living in the residence halls and Bear Creek Apartments. The walk-in and small group tutoring services offer a wide variety of topics, led by trained and dedicated tutors. Students can get support only when needed or they can join a group that meets regularly—helping them stay on top of schoolwork while developing strong study habits in a group setting.
